Testosterone therapy

Mitigate the effects of andropause on your physical and mental health

What modern andrology solves

As we age, testosterone levels may decrease, which affects both physical and mental well-being. This condition is known as "aging male syndrome" or also andropause. Testosterone plays a vital role in the male body - affecting not only sexual and physical health, but also mental well-being, self-esteem and the ability to face everyday challenges. Thus, a lack of this hormone can have very profound consequences on the quality of life.

The main symptoms of testosterone deficiency include:

  • Decreased sexual desire: loss of libido is one of the first and most pronounced symptoms.

  • Erectile dysfunction: problems with getting or keeping an erection.

  • Muscle weakness: loss of muscle mass, more fatigue after physical activity and problems maintaining physical strength.

  • Fatigue and lack of energy: feeling of exhaustion that does not match the amount of activity.

  • Mood changes: frequent irritability, reduced self-esteem and general dissatisfaction.

Reduced testosterone levels:

TRAVERSE 2023 study

In 2023 , the large-scale TRAVERSE* study provided substantial evidence on the safety and benefits of testosterone therapy (TTh) in more than 5,000 men with low testosterone levels and increased cardiovascular risk.

The TRAVERSE study confirmed cardiovascular safety and highlighted the significant metabolic and qualitative benefits of this treatment, opening up new possibilities for the care of middle-aged and older men with hormonal imbalances.

This study has also shown significant medically demonstrable health benefits of testosterone therapy, in particular:

Reducing the risk of diabetes

Improving glycaemic control

Improving the overall metabolic profile
